My background is varied, in which I have had retail and store assistant occupations, however, have always been heavily involved in caring for family members with health issues. My most current work was as a store assistant in a produce store, working with high end products and high profile clientele.
My educational experience gave me the opportunity to gain software and technological computer skills, however, I find myself wanting to pursue a career in health care. From 2014-2016, I was a full-time carer for my grandmother, who had various comorbidities (diabetes resulting in dialysis – peritoneal and hemo, minere’s disease, hearing loss, dementia). This resulted in assisting my grandmother with showering, shopping, cooking, laundry, and overall health care.
