Lachlan Rattray

I’m 18 years old seeking an opportunity as an auto motive apprentice. I’m a genuine car enthusiast with aspirations to become part of the automotive industry.

My key attributes are maturity, a love of being around and learning from other people and a solid work ethic. I pride myself in my ability to work easily with other people and always try to support other people and be a worthy team member.

I’ve been fortunate enough to have traveled to many parts of the world including Europe, Asia, Africa and USA. During my travels I’ve have gained a genuine understanding and appreciation of other places and cultures.

After I graduating Saint Kents College, I attended the 3 week Outward Bound Classic course in Anakiwa. I found this to be a life changing experience and it cemented my love for working within a team and gaining life long friends.

I love taking my car to the track and I’ve spent a lot of time modifying it by changing around the brakes, suspension, exhaust, wheels, visual aspects and audio systems. I also enjoy cleaning my car and keeping it in the best condition to look the part. I’ve driven numerous Hampton Downs track days and also The Drift Academy to further develop my skills. I also love basketball, water skiing, jet skiing, snow skiing, Lego and car simulators and road trips.
