Lilly Pope

I am a resilient and self-motivated (soon to be) 15 year-old secondary school student, currently enrolled at Rolleston College.

I am looking for a part-time employment opportunity where I can be a part of a team and can build on my social and communicative skills.

I am a quick and positive learner, who is willing to try new things and I have developed various skills through my involvement in leadership roles in primary school, and many of my dance opportunities via Swarm Hip Hop Dance School Selwyn (attended since 2021).

I am very eager to have the opportunity to gain experience in a real work environment, and will be a reliable addition to the team.

• I love to dance. I have been involved in hip hop dancing since the age of 7. I have been attending Swarm Studios Selwyn since 2022, and have been a part of various Hip hop crews during the past 3 years (development, and competitive). I have also been a part of Rolleston College Dance Academy 2024-2025. Both opportunities have involved collaborating as a team, time-management skills, and leadership experience on occassion.
• I attended Play Drama from 2021-2024. This involved regular weekly attendance, where we worked on short plays and scripts to perform for family and friends, sometimes in a very large audience. Skills included improvisation, creativity, collaborating as a team, and memory skills (to remember lines and narratives).

• Received the SVA Volunteer Award via Rolleston College 2024. The most Volunteer hours completed in Year 9.
• Part of the Year 8 Leadership team at Clearview Primary 2023. This included participation in the William Pike Challenge and organising activities for other students throughout the school.
• Received The Leadership Cup and Year 8 Leadership Award December 2023.
• Excellence in the Arts (Clearview Primary) 2020 and 2022.
• Service to the School Award Year 8 (2023). Road Patrol, climate and culture and Cafe Helper.
• Clearview Culture Award 2021.
