My task was to travel to Arable farms and inspect the crops suitability for export markets and/or potential as a seed line for further multiplication. If there was anything within the crop out of place (called an off type) My responsibility was to remove it. I Needed very good attention to detail as some of the offtypes were very similar to the crop. Worked to deadlines as there was only a short time from finding offtypes until they had to be removed. Outdoor work which was in all sorts of conditions. I worked in rain and wind through to very hot days. I also helped Teach new emmpoylees how to do the job and spot the offtypes.
