Stepped down as HOD as my children were moving on to tertiary study and wanted to spend more time with them for 2 - 3 years to support them through this transition.

• Head of Statistics within the department and co-constructed the courses, upskilled teachers on course content and developed new and engaging resources.
• Prepared and implemented lesson plans covering required course topics for all teachers covering both Mathematics and Statistics with a focus on the junior programme.

• Allocated classes to teachers while working within the parameters of their professional growth and best outcomes for students.
• Organised daily relief and day-by-day issues that arose in the department pertaining to teacher organisation and well-being.
• Responsible for PCTs and student teachers to optimise their experience at the school.
• Responsible for the pastoral needs in the department which required assistance beyond the classroom.
• Liaised with Deans and managed relationships with students and teachers if issues had arisen.
• Created a responsive faculty behaviour management system to support teaches and students.
• Managed the department budget and sourcing any requirements needed.

• Piloted the Numeracy CAAs and developed the junior programme to respond to the additional requirements needed in the teaching and learning programme.

• Developed the senior statistics teaching, learning and assessment programme during the new curriculum rollout.
• Served as an intermediary between the Head of Department and staff members, addressing concerns and facilitating open communication channels.
• Mentored junior staff members, providing guidance and support to develop their skills and knowledge.
• Established clear performance expectations for team members, providing constructive feedback and promoting professional development opportunities.

• Head of Level 1 Mathematics which had the responsibility of ensuring students were able to achieve Numeracy.
• Collaborated with fellow math teachers on curriculum development, resulting in a more cohesive and comprehensive program.
