Summary
Started my dairy career 10 years ago at Valverde Enterprises where I was elevated to 2ic role in my second season due to my fast learning ability and reliability. The farm was high input with great production achievements of 640 kgms /cow while taking care of 200ha runoff full of young stock and occasionally helping with harvest contracting. Moved from there after 5 years in march 2020 and started at Willbound Farm as 2ic where after 2 seasons we managed to bring down the empty rates from 22% to 10 % consistently for the last 3 seasons, lower the vet bills to being the lowest in the clinic and manage to grow the herd from 500 to 650 cows and maintain a grade free and milk quality awards for the last 3 seasons
