Proactive ONT; MDU technical installation. Programming ONT (Optical Network Terminal), residential, and business fiber connections within SDU, ROW, and MDU premises to achieve 100% connectivity.
Installs FTP, ITP, ONT, routers, and switches for over 200,000 Canterbury customers; determine the most effective methodologies; and undertakes civil installation of fibre ducts and cables (hand trench, concrete cut, slot cut, terra-saw, machine trencher, fence line, boundary joints), following plans and site-specific requirements.
Competent in using fibre-blowing equipment, including a compressor, air gun, and fibre gun (for 2F, 6F, 12F, and 24F). Understands and selects the correct tubes for connection.
