• Completed all day to day runnings and general duties on the dairy platform which included:

Milking, weed control, calving and calf rearing, mating, confidently operating quad bikes/trailers, detecting lameness/injury, administered drugs, and assisted in any other duties/ maintenance as required

• reared heifer and bull calves successfully
• everyday requirements of feeding and health assessments
• administration of medications and vaccines
• relief milker throughout the years and helping with any jobs such as herd testing and dry off

• Reared heifer calves as a 3 person team
• reared and sent off wagyu calves to a high quality
• kept the pens and equipment clean each day
• Fed and medicated calves each day

• Learned the role of checkout operations
• scanned and packed products
• processed transactions both cash and card
• went the extra mile to gain customer satisfaction
• kept checkout area clean and organized
• excellent customer service and team work

• Confidently run the milking shed and cleanup

• During the summer months for 3 seasons I was a rousey for a crutching gang where I would: Sweep the board to keep tidy, sort the dirty and clean crutching/belly pieces, operate presser, assist shearers as required, pen up, drag out and maintain a bubbly attitude
