Summary
I am a third year surveying student (2nd Professional Year) at the University of Otago, and am looking to gain wider work experience during the upcoming summer in a different field of surveying. I have previously been working for a surveying firm in Cambridge for the past two summers. I gained valuable experience on large land development project sites, small single-lot subdivisions and some cadastral work during my time there. I am now looking to expand my surveying work experience by working in a different field of surveying to increase my skillset. I am interested in learning about mine surveying as I enjoy working to high precisions and feel that this will be relevant to the mine surveying field.

I have worked as a student surveyor for Kotare Consultants for the past two summers. During my time there, I have demonstrated my ability to learn quickly and work proactively in time-sensitive environments. My duties while working for Kotare Consultants included;

I worked as a casual summer employee for All Spark Auto Electrical for two summers prior to gaining work experience in my future surveying field. Although I knew nothing about auto electronics, I was able to apply myself to the various tasks I was given and was able to employ my problem solving skillset to complete jobs that I had no prior experience in. The basic duties I had while at All Spark Auto Electrical included;
