I am a hardworking, responsible individual who has been involved in many different activities throughout my schooling as well as my own lifestyle activities. These involved teamwork, active communication, adhering to rules, loyalty, commitment, dedication and cheerfulness. Personally I think I did everything to the best of my ability and this is seen in the completion of Level 8 Piano Certificate, NCEA endorsed with excellence in all three years, leadership roles within school + church and involvement in various school councils.
I am available Monday, Wednesday, Friday, Saturday in Semester 1 and Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, Saturday in Semester 2. I am looking for around 20-25 hours of work per week (I attend church on Sunday)
For the second half of 2023 I worked part-time at Shine Cafe whilst completing my first year at university. This role required early morning starts from 6:45am plus. Within this job I handled the till, served cabinet food, communicated food orders to the kitchen, made and distributed coffees, and served customers. I grew a good rapport with many regular customers and often made it my goal to serve them their coffee before they had paid at the front.
For the second half of 2022 I worked at Butler's Chocolate Cafe in which my role was handling the till, cooking food items, making coffees, packaging chocolates, selling chocolates and serving customers. I gained much experience in how to both multitask and work on my own, as I was often left running the cafe alone for periods of time.
During my time at school I cleaned the house of Barbara Carey for a couple of hours each week. She is partially disabled and part of my role as cleaner was to ensure she could easily get around her house without risk of falling. The job included mopping, vacuuming, dusting, cleaning the bathrooms, cleaning the kitchen, emptying rubbish, sweeping, occasionally painting, and other miscellaneous jobs.
