oI am currently, the National Rongoā Māori Manager, reporting to the Chief Māori Officer, Pae Ora Directorate of Ara Poutama Aotearoa, Department of Corrections. This role supports the strategic direction for rongoā māori, including the operating model, policy and assuring the safe and protected passage of rongoā māori within a government context.

  • Establishing a national rongoā māori advisory panel.
  • Ensuring we uphold our Te Tiriti O Waitangi obligations through the utilisation of rongoā Māori in particular our role in the active protection of this taonga tuku iho
