Accomplishments

  • Led and co-ordinated the development of the online component of the Maths Professional Learning Development Programme. This included procuring the video design company, liaising with Ministry Maths SME's, contract management, video appearances and product review.
  • Developed the business case to inform and support the commissioning of the nation-wide Maths Professional Learning Development programme.
  • Orchestrated and led the joint venture between the Ministry and Victoria University on Maths Equipment Videos. This was an end to end process, which has ultimately led to suite of maths equipment videos being freely available on Tāhūrangi for teachers in New Zealand.
  • Integral team member of the "Make it Count" Maths Resources project .This involved evaluation of supplier responses, collaboration with team members, problem solving and stakeholder management.
  • Successfully managed the contracts with the four Maths resource suppliers. This required clear communication, strong relationship building skills and a solution focused mindset.
  • Lead role in the implementation of Programmes for Students (ALL & ALiM) 2024. This included involvement in the procurement process, stakeholder management with providers & Regional Leads as well as contract management.
