As a grader it is my job is to assess the quality of each carcase that comes along the chain and make an educated decision on what grade it shall be processed as. I do this by measuring fat depth, observing the weight and assessing the carcase for any faults that could have required it to be detained for trimming. I then ensure these faults have been attended to efficiently and print out the ticket for it.

Working as a Duty Manager at Subway I gained strong people skills through customer service. I was entrusted with with the responsibility of running nightshifts through till closing time which required strong communication skills in order to delegate tasks to workers as well as being efficient in both food preparation and cleanliness to uphold fast food industry expectations.
