Summary

I am a dedicated midwife with 20 years experience in all aspects of midwifery care.

I have recently worked for ten months in DAU alongside the outgoing midwife; learning what the role entails and how it works within the hospital and local area.

I believe I have the necessary skills and experience to work within the secondary care requirements of the DAU role whilst also keeping in mind the individual need for each client to maintain the primary care element that should run alongside it. This would include empowering them to make their own informed decisions with both secondary and primary options presented to them.
