Summary

After years spent in the corporate setting, I am excited to start my new career which is aimed toward teaching young minds in primary school. My previous experience and skills such as leadership, organisation, and communication will a benefit to my classroom. After a number of years working as a Learning Support Assistant, this cemented my desire to dedicate myself to creating an inclusive and engaging learning space, where children can thrive. I can't wait to use my adaptable skills and passion to inspire the next generation, guiding them not just academically, but also socially and personally.

  • Worked across the four Year 0/1 classes to provide extra learning support to the homeroom teachers as well as being responsible for groups of children who require extra support in the alphabet, handwriting, mathematics, high-frequency words, and ESOL
  • Responsible for liaising with each teacher and creating a learning plan to match the needs of the children within the groups
