I have worked in heritage protections groups. Park parents group and various roles within the union.

I have been an active member of the Claudelands protection group. Whilst the gains we made in protecting New Zealand's built heritage have been loss but the governments re allocation of Auckland. Hamilton,Wellington and Christchurch - we did make some impact in the Hamilton City Councils' strategic plans.

I live in Union Street- and was an active member of the Park Parents who advocated for green space for our children. The park was established by council in 2000, I am the only remaining member in the neighbourhood.

I have serviced on many Union committees and been active in policy and process for PPTA.
