Kia Ora, I'm a first year university student at Otago university looking to work part or full-time while living in wellington over the summer. I have experience working in multiple hospitality jobs and am a fast learner who can easily adapt to a new team and job. I have primarily worked in food service however I would welcome the challenge of working in a new or different kind of role. In my previous roles i worked in fast-paced environments in both service and supervisor roles.
Availability:
I will be available to work from mid-November to February.
I worked front of house for a busy bakery in wellington. The role mostly included taking customers orders, running food and clearing tables but I also worked as the barista during the quieter hours. This was a full-time role which included both opening and closing duties throughout the week.
I worked as a front of house worker before becoming a shift supervisor. The role included working from open to close, both supervising and working throughout the shift, as well as doing admin worked related to closing up and stock orders. I also trained new employees.
I worked in front of house and was trained in food prep. Working there made me comfortable in a fast paced work environment as it was a very busy store and i was required to multitask and work in a range of roles.
