• I contribute in a casual capacity to event and venue operations
• Supporting food and beverage service, catering assistance and service, cash handling, EFTPOS, Point of Sale, theatre protocol / procedures, merchandise, ushering and evacuation systems to support the overall successful delivery of events and to provide Manaakitanga a positive and memorable customer experience.

I volunteer for condom packaging to prevent the transmission of STDs weekly, which allows for personal growth, empathy, and knowledge. During each volunteer session, I connect with LGBT people, which helps me have a better understanding of their experiences, problems, and achievements. It challenges preconceived beliefs and biases while encouraging empathy and inclusion. I feel that by actively participating in the LGBTQ+ community, I can help to create a culture that is more inclusive, supportive, and informed of the different experiences of LGBTQ+ people.

Being a member of the annual Rainbow Parade in Auckland. I joined the Burnett Foundation Aotearoa to celebrate the diversity of communities and their rich tapestry of individualism, identity, freedom of expression, community culture, and growing everyday acceptance.
