Alyssa Lambie

• Serving customers, ordering stock, stocking shelves, making sales, forklift work, stocktaking, monthly store changeover.

• I was working as an assistant for calf disbudding. This involved injecting a local anesthetic, taking DNA samples, vaccinating, checking for extra teats, moving calves around and applying disinfectant.

• I worked as a general farm hand, which involved shifting breaks, drainage, fencing, drenching, drafting, tractor work, and maintenance.

• I loaded the insemination guns and recorded the data of each animal, while also helping the technician with other duties. This involved time management, fast paced thinking, strictly following health and safety precautions and accurate data entry.

● This was volunteer work experience through my school, working one day a week in the store. I was shown some very basic parts of the inventory and stock taking

system. I was also restocking shelves and working in the yard, while having a chat with a few of the regular customers

● I helped with a lambing beat during lockdown in 2021 and again in 2022. This involved assisting the birthing of struggling sheep, mothering up, numbering lambs and feeding.

● This was my part time after school and weekend job which involved restocking shelves, customer service, efficiency and communication skills.

● I worked as a Rousey for a shearing gang for 6-weeks during my school holidays. This was a very fast paced role which involved quick thinking / moving and accuracy to ensure the wool was sorted into its correct category
