Summary

I am excited to be returning to teaching after a career break that enabled me to Home Educate my daughter whilst assisting my husband in establishing his own PR Company. Before this, my last two teaching positions combined class teacher with leadership roles, Phase leader for KS1, responsible for coordinating Years 1 and 2 and Year Group Leader, responsible for coordinating Year 2. Both roles were in diverse 3 form-entry London schools. I have also held the position of whole school Science Leader, Art and D.T Leader and established a School Council for pupils in Years 1-3.

Education is my passion and I have been fortunate to teach in New Zealand, America and the United Kingdom. Within my classroom and throughout my year group, I focus on ensuring that all children and members of my team thrive in an atmosphere that is inviting, stimulating and creative. I quickly establish close and positive working relationships with children, parents and colleagues and secure strong home-school links with parents. One of my many strengths is my ability to liaise with various members of staff and other outside organisations to gain from their expertise and build good connections within the school and the local community. I enjoy working collaboratively to formulate lessons that inspire and motivate students to regularly supersede their expectations and cultivate a love of lifelong learning.
