• Perform approved therapeutic or diagnostic procedures based upon patients' clinical status.
• Assessing, planning, implementing and evaluating individual patient care plans.
• Administer blood and blood products, monitoring patients for signs and symptoms related to transfusion reactions.
• Meeting elderly patients physical and emotional needs by taking care of their overall comfort and wellbeing.
• Communicating effectively with residents, their families and interdisciplinary healthcare teams for high-quality care.
• Administering medications and treatments safely and accurately as prescribed by physicians.
• Documenting and maintaining accurate medical and care records of patients.
• Recognising and promptly responding to the signs of illness or changes in patient health.
• Actively participating in professional development and training to continually improve nursing skills.
• Advocate for patients' and families' needs, or provide emotional support for patients and their families.
