Accomplishments

  • Selected to present my casework as an example of best-practice collaboration at a multiagency seminar (Anglicare Victoria, Melbourne), demonstrating strong relationship development skills across agencies, engagement skills with a family who had complex needs and a commitment to quality of practice.
  • Consistent positive feedback from multiple individuals and whanau and other key stakeholders (police, judiciary, schools) I worked with, as I supported them to achieve successful outcomes e.g. including a reduction in youth offending behaviour. This was often with initially resistant whanau, demonstrating my interpersonal and relationship development skills were key to building trust and resilience.
  • I was seconded to a leadership position as coordinator in my last three months, using a supportive leadership style, at Anglicare Victoria. This role meant ensuring the team met all deadlines while representing the agency at weekly community meetings to collaborate, prioritise and allocate cases.
