Summary

I am a positive and focused Student - Athlete in my final and fourth year at Lincoln University. I have a strong work ethic and give 100% to all areas of my life whether that be with my studies, sport, or personal life. I am on a netball Scholarship and studying a Bachelor of Land and Property Management majoring in Urban Valuation and Global Business. I pride myself on my ability to manage and prioritize my studies and netball, all alongside coaching, part-time work and maintaining my personal life. I am a confident and outgoing person and enjoy spending time with friends and family outside of the above commitments.

I am always looking to learn, grow and better myself and I am ready to kick start my future in the property industry.

  • The part-time role has compliment my Secondary and Tertiary Studies well and has enabled me to build strong communication and customer service skills.

  • I have also learnt resilience through managing and overcoming difficult situations where a customer has been rude, angry, inpatient or raised their voice.

Undergraduate Student Intern

  • I completed a 9 week Internship Program at OneRoof.
  • This was initially an administrative role to support the team of sales specialists at OneRoof. OneRoof is a Real Estate Marketing platform which has its success through Agents advertising their listing through paid upgrades on the OneRoof platforms.
  • I learnt knew technical skills on how to edit the backend of the OneRoof Website so I could resolve client issues and upgrade listings myself.
  • I attended client meetings and was exposed to the world of sales.
  • I advanced in the Admin role which lead to me retaining my own client base of New Real Estate Agents in Christchurch, where I successfully upgraded 6 agents and led my own face to face client meeting.
  • This role was a great insight into the Residential Real Estate industry and how different brands operate. I also have learnt the value of building client relationships and the different approaches to sales.

Senior A Assistant Netball Coach

  • I was the Assistant Coach to the top netball team at Christchurch Girls High School for two years, this role consisted of 10+ hours a week commitment to coaching trainings and games.
  • I began coaching as a student-coach in 2018 while attending Christchurch Girls High School myself. Overtime have progressed in roles from the Year 9 A team to the Assistant of the Senior A Team.
  • As Assistant I helped the head coach in developing strategies to create a successful team.
  • I Organised and facilitated netball drills specific to their age and playing level.
  • I Monitored the development of individual players, providing feedback as necessary.
  • Coaching has provided me the ability to give back to netball and my school which is very important to me.

Vacancy Research Analyst

  • Performed vacancy surveying, data collection and data entry, to assist CBRE Christchurch with their Bi-annual Market Vacancy report.
  • This role consisted of travelling to Office buildings in Christchurch, identifying vacancies and new tenants, researching and speaking to the new tenants, then entering the vacancy data collected into a database.
  • I worked both in the office and remotely and self - managed my time to complete surveying of all office buildings in the Christchurch Area with the one month internship.
  • The data collected had to be accurate, current and reliable as it is presented in the CBRE Vacancy reports and market insights.
  • This role offered a strong introduction and insight to the Christchurch Commercial Property Market and its Vacancy rates.
