Ellie Schwartfeger

Energetic, and with a good work ethic, I am a hard working team member at the St Heliers Fruit Delicatessen, mastering customer service and organisational skills. Proven to be a quick learner and highly reliable, I have the ability to work under pressure while maintaining a positive attitude. I am hard working, calm and I am reliable member of the the team.

When I am not at school or at my part-time job I like to play sport, tramp in New Zealand's great outdoors, or hang out with my family and friends.

• Selected for a three-year Youth Search and Rescue (YSAR) program, focused on equipping young people with essential skills for outdoor rescue and preparing participants for roles in New Zealand's Search and Rescue operations.
• Playing in my school’s top hockey team for the past four years has been an incredible privilege, allowing me to compete at a high level and grow both as a player and teammate, while maintaining high academic grades has taught me time management and the importance of discipline.
• Refereed Glendowie Boys' first and second hockey teams over the past couple of years, a rewarding and enjoyable experience that provided me with a fresh perspective on the game and enhanced my understanding of its dynamics.
• This year, I participated in my school's string ensemble as a cellist, proudly representing the school at the KBB Music Festival, a prestigious competition for big bands and string ensembles.
• As an active member of Model UN and Interact at school, alongside my participation in outdoor activities like hiking and kayaking, I have developed a mix of curiosity and teamwork skills.

• Filled in for the Women's Division One and Division Two teams in 2023, contributing to victories in their respective grades. in 2022 and 2023
• Champions of the Youth Premier Grade in 2023 for Somervillie Hockey Club.
• Played Hockey for my school achieving First IX Hockey Team (top team at my school) from Year 9 to Year 11.
• Driver licence - on restricted (Full licence in April)
