Lewis McLauchlan

I am a reliable worker with multiple years of experience running and teaching karate classes to children and adults. During this time, I have acquired skills such as working with children, public speaking, and leadership. I have also worked as a packer/baker at Hillyers of Lincoln since 2021. In this job, I learned to work in a fast-paced factory environment, where my coworkers relied on me to arrive on time, work fast, and stay late on big days.

I got my blackbelt in Yoshukai karate after training at the same club for 12 years. Training karate for most of my life has not only given me self-defense skills but also a disciplined and resilient mindset. I have also developed teaching skills as I teach two times a week. I also ran a children's class at Waimairi School for a year in 2023.
