Summary

Tēnā koe. I am a passionate kaiako of learning at the prestigious Mount Albert Grammar School in Tāmaki Makaurau. Currently I am a provisonally registered teacher, holding additional roles of responsibility within my department. Come December, I will be fully registered with the Teaching Council.

I view my personal qualities as assets to teaching as I am capable of being approachable, relatable and also able to admit when I don’t know everything or face challenges. I believe these effectively promote tuakana-teina relationships within my akomanga and department.

My passion within health lies in health promotion within ākonga. My job is to help them develop the skills and critical thinking capabilities so that they may take control of their own lives. I particluarily enjoy teaching within the mental wellbeing and RSE space.
