- As a volunteer, I ran activities for children (ages 2 - 13) at a Council Sports initiative for migrant/refugee women. I helped look after the children so the Mums were free to get involved in sport.
- The activities included teaching sports such as soccer, hockey and netball and running fun games.
- For the younger kids I supervised drawing, playing with toys.
- This was a very multicultural experience and many of the children were not fluent in English.
