  • Cost review/Re-Tendering of a paused $3M residential development, identifying major omissions by the previous QS and leading negotiations resulting in $500k in subcontractor savings, while managing a client driven increase in scope.
  • Lead QS/Point of Contact in the pricing (pre and during works) of a multi-tenancy $2.8M+ medical centre fit-out. Coordinating across four separate tenancies (GP, Dental, Pharmacy, Surgical), handling all sub-contractor engagement, managing/pricing extensive Client/Architect requested variations, ensuring compliance with all applicable standards, and strict delivery date.
  • Developed the company’s internal letting sheet and trade evaluation process from scratch, after joining the company in a period with no documented QS processes. In order to carry out the process with an external PQS
  • Presented pricing breakdowns to clients on $2M+ projects, addressing questions about inclusions, exclusions, and scope options in meetings alongside or independently of the Head QS.
  • Coordination with external PQS on complex projects (high end renovation, and high end childcare centre), consistently subject to design changes, through daily communications (call/email) and letting package submissions.
  • Manually produced all take-offs and markups using Nitro PDF Pro, alongside Excel-built costing templates to manage tender breakdowns, subcontractor comparisons, and pricing summaries.
