• Sorted Freights into TCPs’ that were labeled the places it needs to be sent to

This employment was a work experience put through by my high school, so I wasn’t paid for this role. It was only to gain experience and NCEA level 3 credits.

• Organized files for data merging and script use.
• Critiqued other artists’ work and gave constructive feedback.
• Worked alongside the entire development team in an energetic and creative environment.
• Clearly communicated updates and concerns to the appropriate team members and managers.
• Observed every exhibition installments.

Overall, I have met artists that had exhibited their artworks into this gallery during this time. Learned so much from this role and experienced the art world for the first time. My passion for art grew from this work experience I was put in through high school.

• This employment was only for my father, but during school holidays I was asked to help him pick apples from 6am-6pm every weekday.
• Climbed ladders to reach high-hanging apples.
• Inspected apples for quality and size.
• Picked and packed ripe apples into crates.
• Loaded apple crates onto delivery truck.

• This employment was organised by my great uncle, Tevita Niu Lata. It was more like a family job. Picking blueberries, pruning and thinning the plants. This was a seasonal job, so working everyday wasn't permanent. We worked from 6am till sun down. Working as a picker, we all had to be careful and responsible for the plants and treat them as living things. We hired some church people to the job and I managed to train them on how we pick, prune and thin. I only worked to help my parents, experience the farm life and earn some extra coins during school holidays.
• Collected ripe blueberries from the bushes in a timely manner.
• Maintained and repaired picking equipment on an as-needed basis.
• Stored harvested blueberries in crates to ensure quality control.
• Transported filled crates of blueberries to designated storage area.
