Moved on and worked in the Marine Industry as shore-based fitter/welder where I gained my experience Engine overhaul, Machining and welding. Being a fitter, I have worked on various marine diesel engines and generators such as Perkin, Caterpillar and Yanmar.
I have gained management and supervisory skills as a Production Manager at my time with Express Sheetmetals NZ Ltd where i oversee all jobs and ensure jobs were completed on time and to customs specifications. I also serviced and maintained all workshop machinery.
I am currently employed as a Mechanical fitter at Kiwirail Holdings Limited where I service and maintain their passenger fleet where i work on brakes and structures and interior works.
