Summary

Kia Ora and Sat Sri Akaal,

I am an extremely passionate early childhood educator.

I hail from Punjab, India where I started my teaching journey, and have been in the field for 20+ years in Aotearoa. I not only have a dedication to providing quality learning experiences for Tamariki, but am also passionate about the emotional and developmental requirements they have. I tread my path of teaching with compassion and integrity. Upholding the Mana of tamariki and their whanau is the foundation of my practice.

Through consistently taking opportunities for career development, I have adopted and applied te ao Maori approaches within my practice and continue to enrich my kete further.

As tauiwi, I understand the importance of cultural awareness and the need for competence when working in a diverse community, especially with young and impressionable minds.
