Hello, My name is Tahndae.

I am moving to the United Kingdom in March 2025 for a next step in my career, setting my sights to be based in Scotland.

I am a passionate and hard-working professional. Leaving college in 2017, I began working in corporate and professional roles, which immediately helped me gain experience among several of roles. All of which have now landed me as an Executive assistant, in the Government agency of New Zealand under a Tier3 Manager at The Ministry of Health.

I have been working in the Public Health Sector in Government, administration, for over3 years professionally, and had a regular administrative assistant role two years prior to that.

I am and incredibly passionate about Golf, having a general knowledge and understanding of it, and as a player. I am hardworking and motivation driven individual. I at present have been in employment in the New Zealand Government the last three years working with Ministers, Parliament, and officials in the Ministry of Health. This job has garnered challenges in our current climate to which my role has been involved with supporting those with.

Outside of my career, I am a currently retired NZ Women's Handball/Beach Handball player having represented my country since the age of 16. I have grown a passion for Sports, and wish to further my career to be involved in the sporting world.

I aspire to be able to grow my career, as i am ambitious and determine. I take on challenges, and am a dependable and reliable employer. If given the opportunity, i do offer to find ways that can extend my role into more competitive opportunities such as solo event organizing, lead in marketing, and more. I believe I am a calming influence with a bright spark of passion, coming in all forms to adjust to every individual I work with.

Executive Assistant

  • Oversee Calendar of my manager, navigating severe clashes, filling in meetings and juggling certain tasks to be done in between each action
  • Document Handling - Handling confidential memos, briefings, gazette notices, coroners' inquiries/reports, judicial reviews and more throughout the corporate teams in Medsafe, and above Tier2 DDG/DG levels

  • I was nominated by the NZHF board to work with Wellington Handball in contributing to improving the handball in New Zealand amongst our youth and support the NZHF in their social media and campaigns for overseas travel
  • I had meetings daily, which involved in depth brainstorming and discussion on the improvement areas required, and the ways to capture the attention of youth to entice them to join the sport
  • In doing so, I created digital and social media platforms that we used as advertisements and video's that displayed the purpose of our objective and allowed over150 players between12-18 to join in the city of Wellington, with200+ joining extra around New Zealand
  • Since doing this I have stepped off the board to prioritize my career and passions, the number continues to grow and NZHF have achieved double recognition in New Zealand for its talents in the sport

Hobbies and Interests

I am currently a retired New Zealand Women’s Beach Handball Team. I have played Handball from2015 - present2024 now retiring. I am very passionate about my sports, having worked full time since I was17 years old to require my job's income as a form of financial support to fund this. I train most days, and any other offered sport. I am also a top premier netball player in our Netball Wellington Premier grade., Wellington Handball Committee/New Zealand Beach Handball Board - I recently stepped away from the head of recruitment, youth, management, and marketing of Wellington Handball/NZBH. I have created a youth team, youth handball league, Primary school ages league as well as beginners’ events for the communities in Wellington. Successfully managing to convince200 people in the last two years to give it ago and furthermore to try. Primary schools have now begun weekly sessions with myself and my committee due to the enjoyment and future potential of growing this port., Health and Fitness. - I am a very strict athlete due to my training and will waste no time in moving if given the chance. I will find myself using off time to indulge having myself do several dog sitting/walking events where appropriate., Design/Arts – I was creating/designing several social media posts/videos/graphics for advertisements for my sports boards, portfolios, and general enjoyment. This involved a huge display at our NZ National events and further promotions which we extended to oceania., Film – I indulge in study of film. I regularly analyze film/acting in features and study the behind the scenes features and use of certain works in this to be able to continue living out my dream through this., I enjoy my travelling experiences and look forward to opportunities of growth in my character. I was fortunate enough to travel yearly and more regularly for my sport, as well as personal leisure and have always been prepared to jump to these offers as they arise., I volunteer for SPCA and Child Cancer often, as well as community events or donors for funding those in need. Every year I run my own personal Christmas Donation Drive/Charity event to support Women’s refuge/children in lower decile regions., I am an incredibly sporty and high performing athlete. I played every sport growing up I adapted a strong ability to achieve high results in all my sporting codes. I now play golf regularly, and when I am not playing golf, I am running, playing handball, netball or attempting new hobbies involving outdoors and activities.
