Volunteering as a football referee with Northern Region Football and New Zealand Football is one of my non work-related passions. This role requires a high level of attention to detail, relationship management and rapport building skills, teamwork, resilience, confidence and integrity as well as a great attitude to learning and hard work. I have been refereeing for two years now and in this time I have achieved selection to the National Youth League for girls in 2022 and selection for the NZF Referee Development Academy and the National Women's League in 2023, all of which I am really proud of. I feel they showcase how hard I have worked, my commitment to excellence and my ability to development skills quickly over my short tenure as a referee.
