In container services, the job consists of loading and discharging cargo to and from container ships with cranes, trucks and heavy machinery. Having staff on the wharf are trained to provide confirmation and support for crane drivers when loading and discharging cargo with the use of hand signals and radio contact. Lashers are provided with a plan for the onboard labour to assemble and disassemble lashing bars for discharge and load of containers in bays according to the plan.

Relocating and installing office furniture across the North Island but predominantly in the Wellington Region. The job consists of heavy lifting, transporting

goods in a safe manner also being physically fit for the job.

Digging trenches and laying electrical in the Transmission Gully Highway project. Day by day moving earth in sections, laying the ducts which is then backfilled with sand and compressed for street lighting run throughout the project.

Manual Labour digging into foundations in preparation for a new wash house build under an existing property. Couple days work which

involved digging, moving earth and clean-up tasks.
