During my years working in Farmers stores, while considering retail pathways such as buying marketing and management I have decided to try and find employment in health care, an industry that has interested me since my late teens, volunteering with disabled children and adults at Rotorua Riding for the Disabled, and afterwards studying Health Science and Psychology. I believe many of the skills I have developed working in retail will be put to good use as a medical receptionist. I know that I will have both an opportunity to grow personally and enjoy making a difference in the lives of patients that visit the practice.
I have particularly enjoyed working in women's fashion, home décor, furniture, and toys and have proven I can adapt and work in many departments over the years. I have a unique skill set. When our office staff are away, I do the banking and assist our store receivers in the dock.
