Summary
My name is Zhongyu (Bill) Zhang. In 2007, I came from China after graduating from high school. I obtained a bachelor’s degree of Information and Communication Technology in 2013 from Christchurch Polytechnic of Institute (CPIT). After a couple short work experiences in Christchurch, I moved to Auckland to seek better job opportunities. I joined a car rental company and worked on rental software development. Through this experience, I really enjoyed teamwork within the development group by exchanging ideas and working to achieve a common goal. I also improved my customer communication skills to understand their real concerns and develop solutions to satisfy their needs. Meanwhile, I got the New Zealand permanent residency. During 2020, because of the severe impact of the pandemic, I decided it was a good time to pursue an advanced degree in the Auckland University of Technology (AUT) Computer Sciences postgraduate program. I have earned my master degree in July 2023. Meanwhile, I would like to find a job to apply my skills and gain more working experience. I'm interested in any type of software jobs, particularly those involving mobile platform development, integration, and testing.
