Additional Information

Through my work as an Outreach Teacher at Oaklynn special school, I was extremely fortunate to be mentored and coached in the work of Trauma informed practice. I have attended webinar courses by Mona Delahooke, Lori Desautels and Kelly Mahler.

The works of these professionals as well as the works of Stuart Shanker and Stephen Porges has greatly improved my understanding of Educational neuroscience and in turn made me a much more effective and compassionate practitioner, particularly when working with children who have high and complex learning needs.
