I support both Meridian Energy and Powershop New Zealand by resolving complex issues such as high bills, meter faults, data discrepancies, and new connection lines. My role involves regular collaboration with internal teams and customers to ensure accurate, timely outcomes.

A core part of my role is managing the switching function across both brands. I respond to over 50 queries daily—around 25 per brand—directly from the switching inbox. These often involve regulatory requirements and coordination with external retailers to ensure compliant customer transitions.

To support the organisation’s new structure, I’ve provided hands-on training in switching processes and helped colleagues build confidence in this space. I also collaborated with the Business Analyst team to support automation efforts, offering frontline insights to enhance system design and efficiency.

My work has improved reconciliation accuracy, reduced overdue regulatory tasks, and helped minimise the risk of breaches or fines by strengthening compliance and process reliability.

During my internship, I supported the project team in restructuring and optimising databases using Microsoft SQL Server. I worked on designing and testing databases, resolving backend issues, and improving the performance of reporting processes.

I quickly adapted to technical challenges and received positive feedback for my initiative, problem-solving skills, and ability to learn and deliver within a short timeframe.

I supported six boutique brands—TAG Heuer, Hublot, Zenith, Dior, Chaumet, and Fred—by identifying and resolving SAP interface errors and operational issues. My responsibilities included investigating the root causes of financial discrepancies, ensuring accurate and reliable workflows, and delivering timely reports to support cross-functional decision-making.

I worked closely with tax and finance teams on VAT filings, year-end tax activities, and accounts payable operations. My contributions helped streamline financial operations, improve compliance, and enhance accuracy across all brands.

I worked with international clients across industries such as pharmaceuticals (e.g. Pfizer), ICT (e.g. Acer, Qisda), and retail. My responsibilities included planning and conducting audits, verifying financial records, and ensuring compliance with international reporting standards.

I prepared bilingual audit reports and documentation, often under tight deadlines, and collaborated closely with clients and internal teams. During this time, I met my KPI and call quality requirements while strengthening my skills in financial auditing, compliance, and stakeholder communication.

I managed monthly accounting for over 10 companies across various industries, preparing bilingual financial reports in Japanese and Mandarin. These included income statements, balance sheets, cash flow statements, trial balances, and all supporting ledger accounts.

I processed payroll for 4-5 companies, including Morgan Stanley Taiwan with over 100 employees, and supported clients with tax matters and communication with the tax authority.

I led a small team and built strong client relationships through reliable service delivery, while deepening my technical accounting and leadership skills.
